This is a great list. However a few notable omissions of outstanding leadership blogs you may want to consider are: Steve Roesler’s blog (www.allthingsworkplace.com), Mike Myatt’s N2growth Blog (www.n2growth.com/blog) and Art Petty’s management excellence blog (www.artpetty.com)

  2. I have reviewed these blogs. I have found that 25% are actually good blogs and maybe 20% are great. Hyatt has a GREAT blog. What I am finding in most blogs on leadership is that people are turning a business level subject into an even more starched dissertation on management and ethics. If they are not doing that, they are pimping a book on their blog or pushing a video series.

Where are the STORIES!?!? Where are the BLOGS!? The people who are posting their experiences and interactions on leadership that give your rise to take action?

I love that you put a list together- but the truth is- you need to DIG to find people who blog on leadership that are not pushing a book or writing a master thesis. Entertain the audience and get them talking!!!

Thanks to Dan and Andrew for your comments.

Dan thank you for offering up some other hot leadership blogs. This list I put together comes from my own corner and what I read. There are so many more great leadership blogs and talent, I just didn’t want to include a huge list. Thank you for leaving trails to more resources.

Andrew thank you for your perception on the list I provided. Certainly, some are selling their books or postulating on deeper notions of leadership. Everyone on this list is loaded with talent and whether they are selling a book, cd, workshop, or seminar is alright in my book. We all need to pay the bills. And these 10 leadership talents are definitely worth reading and buy any resources from to improve your leadership skills.
