There is continuous chatter about change. Politicians yammer about changing policy, direction, or the old guard in the White House. Corporate America is professing change in the way business is done. Talk, talk, and talk. And what is the real deal with all this talk? Is it just that… talk?
At work and at life, I am a change agent. I am a heretic that believes the world, life, or people can be different. I believe we need to throw out the old status quo of how things should be and accept that they can be better. And to just talk is only the beginning. Make a conscious choice to take life to the next level. All you need to do is simply apply the following six easy steps for change.
1. Be aware you want to make a change.
2. Have a desire to make change. (Pain vs. pleasure) Anthony Robbins.
3. Visualize the change in a perfect world. (Meditate)
4. Create affirmations. (Set the habit) NLP
5. Find the knowledge (others who have gone before you, coaches, mentors)
6. Put an action plan into action
A. Plan based upon your knowledge of the change you want.
B. Take action on your plan. (begin)
C. Check your progress. Is it working YES / NO
D. If YES, keep going. If NO, time to adjust or modify.
7. Celebrate your success.
My wild-eyed believe remains; we do have it within us to change the world. Your ability to make change in politics, lives, work, or your local community on a grand scale is within your reach. Your ability is in your heart. That’s the single most important piece of information you need to know. That piece is your desire to change something, anything. Tap into your power and go change anything.

Thanks for this.
Looks like you’ve got the “mind” part of any change covered. What about body, emotion and culture?
All the best from Brighton,

#1 is so important, too many times I see people are un clear on what they are trying to do.
#6 is my favorite, it might be because I am the Action Person!

Imperfect Action is better than No Action
For me, change is in the action. Continuous small steps in the right direction make big changes.
Thanks for the post; I enjoyed reading it.
Great website, very enrolled in the spirit with which it is written. Keep it up and I’ll look forward to seeing what’s next for you!
