When a missile is fired from a fighter jet it streaks toward its target with laser precision. Inside the missile is a high tech guidance system that accesses, corrects, and seeks out the target until it’s destroyed. Without this internal guidance system these missiles are as useful as a rock dropped off a tall building.
Our minds act like these guidance systems. Some minds are focused and determined to take out any target our mind visualized. Other minds have faulty wiring in their guidance system. These minds intend to take out a target and fall short due to faulty internal wiring.
To remain sharp like those missiles that never miss you need to keep interference away from the wiring system. Missiles work every time because there are no dynamics that hamper the missile on its way to the target.
Human are different. As we seek out targets, things and people get in the way. Past attempts to hit our target and failings can weigh on us as we seek out our new target. It’s like friction grinding against the wires that help our guidance system work. These wires become frayed.
Ultimately, humans are way more complex than missiles. We have many things that can cause failure in our success guidance system. We interact with people who may act as interferes to our guidance system. These people are public enemy number one to our internal mind and guidance system. Just like labels on missiles, we need a sticker that reads, “Stay Clear” to these types of people.
Other tensions that may cause failure to our guidance system are our own internal values about people, situation, cultures, and life in general. From birth until now you have been recording thoughts, creating perceptions, and making conclusions based upon what you have seen, heard, smelled, tasted, and touched. All of these things have helped create the electronics that run your internal success guidance system.
Some of us have experienced excellent examples throughout life that have helped us have a healthy guidance system. We know to maintain it when it begins to slow by inserting better words, pictures, and replacing outside influences with those that match our own.
Some are not as fortunate. If your guidance system is slow or even broken, own up to needing to fix it and get busy. The first thing you need to do is begin reprogramming. Start with an affirmation about what you want your guidance system to accomplish. Next, visualize your target so clearly it feels real. Then make a plan and take massive action to hit your target.
This is good advice for those with good guidance systems now and for those who need an overhaul.
Success may appear in an intangible form like a certain net worth, a particular amount in your bank account, or an ideal weight in numbers. Success may also appear to others as an intangible. Some think of success as giving to others, assisting groups, or personal limits in their lives.
An amazing story aired over the weekend. The focus of the story was on a growing trend of kids snorting and smoking
